Tested positive for sti

unfortunately i tested positive for an sti.. got my medication, for a week. she said that i take the medicine for a week NO SEX, and no sex the week after. i definitely don’t plan on it because i am devastated… but she never mentioned if i go get retested ? so should i make an appointment to get retested? thursday is my last day of medication.
