My son is 15months old almost 16months. We been trying to put him to be about 730-8pm he'll fall right to sleep then anywhere from 1am-230am he'll wake up and is wide awake for anywhere from a hlf hr-2hrs then sleep like another 1&1/2hrs. I'm so confused his ped said to just let him cry it out but I've tried that and he'll get so upset he'll start hitting his head on the side of his crib which I don't want him doing either. He'll take 2-3hr naps during the day is the night time where his sleep is a mess.

Has anyone dealt with this and what has helped you??
