I did want my last baby to be a girl. I was going to name her after my mom but it’s BOY.. I was starting to feel that gender disappointment but I had to think I got a girl (10) and a boy (4). I also got to thinking my son doesn’t have a brother just 3 sisters (that’s also included his “dad’s” 2 daughters). My daughter has other siblings on her dad side so I’m not feeling that gender disappointment much (it’s a real feeling) and I could still name a boy after my mom anyways. 💙💙💙

I would like to add. I understand there are women that are having difficult times with getting pregnant or having multiple losses. I’m not here to be insensitive to that with this post. I have experience loss before. I really posted because I read and seen gender disappointment in others but I never thought I would feel that way myself but I did even though it was less than a day. I had to take a moment and look at “my” bigger picture. Healthy baby is the true goal.💙💙💙
