When do I count dpo ?

Question

I ovulated on Saturday 21 around like 7pm or 8pm . So do I count the 22 as 1dpo even though the egg was released last night?  Or is the 23 1dpo? I’m confused

So I track via ovulation and cm. 
The way I know I've finished ovulation is by a cm change to creamy. 
The day I get creamy cm is 1dpo. 
If you are going by the app along its be the 22nd. 
If you are going by opk alone 22nd would be 1dpo. You can say the 23rd is 1dpo just to be safe as well.
