Epidural?

Question

Ladies who have had an epidural... pros and cons please. I've never had one, but am considering it with this baby.

Pros: sped my labor up sooo much, I was able to relax and sleep and deliver with very minimal pain
Cons: Having to get a catheter 😵

Pros: takes away the pain; and side note: feels like a bee sting and then intense pressure.
Cons: none for me personally.

Pros: it made me extremely relaxed and helped with dilation- I went from a 1 to 10 within an hour or so. Despite being relaxed I still had energy to push. Con: just a little weak in the legs afterwards…needed help for a few days after, especially in the shower just to make sure I didn’t fall.

Pro : smooth labor. My 1st I was 100% numb. My 2nd took me from a 10 to a 4 pain.
Con: 1st I had back discomfort for about a month. 2nd no pain afterwards

Pros: painnnn freeeeee. Helped me get from 6 cm to 10 cm so fast. I was relaxed. And not exhausted when I was pushing

As a heads up, pitocin is terrible. I’ve been maxed out on pitocin twice now and I will not let them put pitocin in me without the epidural. Labor wasn’t bad by itself. It felt the same as Braxton hicks. I couldn’t tell the difference between the two. 
I am on blood thinners, so I’m forced to have pitocin. I was 7 cm and still received the epidural because I refused the pitocin without it. I’m glad i did because I refused pain killers with my first and I vomited everywhere before I started to hyperventilate. I almost lost consciousness before they gave me the epidural for my first. Pitocin makes contractions feel like they never stop and they’re so intense. It felt like my bones were being snapped every few seconds.

Had my first with no meds. Was not too bad.
Was going to attempt with my second but said “fuck it” and got the epidural. It was the best decision ever!
However, the doctor wanted to help with me not tearing as much as I did with my son, SO I had to hold positions with my daughters head right there (there was an explanation that made sense but I don’t remember) for about 10 second and I felt that pain 😖. BUT I did not tear as much! Woo hoo
This baby, epidural, 🙌 I don’t think I will ever go back to no epidural. 😌 So, no cons from me.

Pro: No pain at all besides getting the epidural in the first place. I slept for 8 of the 10 hours of labor. When it was time to push, I could still feel the pressure and still felt like I experienced a lot. 
Con: Literally none it was amazing

So far I had 2 pregnancies, I got epidural with both for delivery. I also got epidural with both to get a cerclage into place. 
Pros: no pain, no suffering during birth. 
Cons: not being able to move your legs for a while.
I would pick the epidural 100 times 😂 I’ve never had any issues after all 4 times I got it.
