What age did your child become interested in tv/movies?

Our daughter is about to turn 2. She is constantly on the go. From 6am - 7pm she doesn’t stop running, jumping, climbing etc, except her 1.5 hour nap. My question is- what age did your kid become able to actually sit and watch a show or movie?

My little is 1 and she sits and watches shows has for awhile now.

My 3 year old has loved tv since he was a baby. I would watch adult shows for background noise during the day but had to stop because he’d just sit there and watch instead of playing. My 18 month old has no interest in any shows/movies at all. I think it just depends on the kid. Most kids enjoy stuff with singing though.

My Olive can watch shows but not a whole movie. Pretty much only Daniel Tiger from PBS. Anything else she gets bored with. She will watch Sing…but only the singing parts. Other than that she’s go go go go. She’s 2.5

My son wouldn’t sit through a movie til he was over 3 yrs old and still won’t always sit all the way through (he’s 4 now)

My oldest is 3 and is just now sitting and watching stuff. It has to be one of her favorites or she doesn’t have much interest. My little is 19 months and will sit and watch maybe 5-10 mins at a time. Neither will sit and watch a whole movie or anything.

This sounds like my first daughter. She was at least 3 I wanna say before she sat still long enough to watch a full episode of something. Even now she is watching tv while jumping on her mini trampoline. 🤦‍♀️🤣 She is 5 and movies are still hit or miss.

My niece is 2 and nephew is 10 months they both can sit and watch the TV for a good 45 minuets before they are bored.
