Did marriage counseling help you and your spouse? What if your marriage like now?

Answer

I feel like it depends on why you're going to counseling and how much effort you both put in. Me and my husband went to counseling because we were feeling more like roommates than lovers & it was horrible!! Counseling helped us talk through some major life changers & stressors and also helped us learn how to check in with each other. Like asking how we're doing mentally & stuff like that. Its been extremely helpful now that we have a new baby. Overall we went to about 4 counseling sessions and I would say they were beneficial to us.
