Who will watch my toddler when I’m giving birth with my second child?

Hello! My husband and I have a 2 yr old girl and are expecting our second late Feb 2022! My twin sister is being induced Feb 14 with her first since she has fetal growth restriction so her baby may need nicu time. My mom is planning on flying up from Georgia to help her when baby comes home. I would like the help if my mom is in town just to watch my toddler for the two nights I am in the hospital but my mom and sister are pretty much refusing. Initially they said it would be fine but now they changed their minds and I don’t know why. My in laws can’t come up bc my father in law is recovering from Covid and they are a 6 hr drive away. My sister and mom think it will be too stressful with a newborn and my toddler in the house, even though my mom raised 4 kids (I am a quadruplet). I’m only asking for 2 days of help after daycare for someone to give my girl dinner/play/bedtime….

Yeah it’ll be hard with a toddler and baby but that’s kinda messed up that they’re refusing to help. Why could she help your sister but not you? I would ask her that.

i think by the time you have your baby, your fil will be fine by then. if they’re 6 hrs away, why don’t you guys offer to get them a flight so they get there sooner. you’re already thinking of paying for someone to come. I’d prefer family over a stranger any day especially since you & your husband will be out for two days. 
i feel like your sis deserves to have your moms help just the same way your mom helped you. & by the looks of you rewriting this post again, it seems like you don’t like the responses you were given previously

I must be really petty because if my mom told me she couldn’t give me a little help while she was already in town I would tell her not to plan on coming to meet my new baby when I get home from the hospital either. If your sisters baby would be in NICU wouldn’t your mom only have her one child? Why can’t they have a cousin sleepover?

I would tell them my COMPLETE feelings without being mean. I would tell them what I think. 
There are 2 of them. Idk what your mother is thinking. Tell her you arent feeling supported.

You hv a very selfish mother. Your sister actually needs bonding time with her baby not mummy running around for her doing everything. She could help you out and care for her grandchild. If thats too much then she doesn't deserve to see her. Ask a friend to mind your toddler. If not hubby will just hv to do it. You will hv to stay in hospital with just u and baby and hv hubby and your lil one visit.

Thats messed up that they won't help and that's their excuse...like yeah it'll be difficult but it's also 2 days AND you have to do it everyday when you get home! I get the first is exciting and can be overwhelming but if my brother had asked me to watch his kid for the same situation there's no way I would decline.
