How does your baby sleep at night?

I still have yet to get more than one 1 hour stretch. He hates his bassinet, I have to hold him, I almost can’t function😭

The past two nights we’ve fed at 10, slept til 3, fed again, then slept til 8! My first didn’t do this til 3 or 4 months so I’ll take this sleepy babe! 🙌🏻

Something that helped my baby go back to the bassinet was our routine for feeding. We get up, I change her diaper and then I swaddle her back up in a Velcro swaddle and then she will be sleepy or asleep at the end of a feed then she goes back to the bassinet easily. It’s not fool proof but most of the time she would easily sleep in her bassinet after a feed! Figure out a little routine that works for you and baby to signal that it’s time to sleep again. Also if my baby does not get her long afternoon nap then night time is harder!

I get about 3hrs at the beginning of the night and then he wakes every hour or so after that 😩

he generally wants to eat every 2 to 3 hours but feeding can take up to an hour so by the time he’s back in the crib he usually sleeps 1 to 2 hours. have you tried swaddling?

I've moved mine to her own room and crib and she gives me about 3-4hr stretches

Usually a 5 hour stretch initially followed by 3 hours until morning. So up twice through the night.

My baby is 3 weeks, and I can’t complain…I’ve had babies more difficult, though. The last week, she’s been settling around 9pm and will do about a 5 hour stretch. Then it’s typically every 2-3 hours after that.
It is torture sleep to be up every hour, especially since it’s not really time for you to settle back into sleep. It won’t last forever, though!
I make an effort to feed baby every two hours during the day so that she needs less calories at night. I also swaddle at night. Try a pacifier. I know they are recalled, but I’ve used a rock and play with all of my babies. I just be sure to always buckle them in. I think it can help with reflux. Some of my babies just knew when I put them down. This baby doesn’t seem to mind.
