First time using opk

I am using the opk strips for the first time ever. I am scanning them on the app. The app said today I got a positive. How accurate is the app? Am I getting a positive on because I am due to ovulate according to the glow app? I know I sound like a skeptic. Just wanting to know.

I do check my cm to see were I’m at. It seems to be Al over the place. Still checking.
