Hi everyone,

So I started the patch because I have painful periods. The dr told me to take it for 9 weeks straight and then have one week off (1 period every 3 months).

Well, I got my period 2 weeks ago and it hasn’t gone away. And it’s not like a light period either. It’s moderate and has been getting heavier and I have been cramping for 2 weeks straight. I am exhausted.

I have been on the patch for 6 consecutive weeks. The dr tells me my only option is to wait it out or choose a different contraceptive. Has this happened to anyone?

Any advice? Idk how much longer I can wait this out 😣
