Drug question

My bf is a former m3th addict. I wasn’t in his life when he was using but I’m pretty concerned now. A few red flags have came up, so I looked online. He works all day, well until 2 pm and comes home. Lately he’s been making food (eating less), cleaning non stop; like every time there’s a dish he wants to clean it up. It’s only been with cleaning the dishes really. He just recently went and cleaned out the truck. I’m 5 months pregnant so I asked him if he’s on drugs, he said no. He said he would go buy a drug test for my peace of mind. I’m about to take him up on that offer because he just came to me and said he would clean all the floors and vacuum tomorrow after work. I do appreciate the effort he’s putting in but he used to be so lazy and not do anything. I’m confused on what I should do. He says he’s just trying to be responsible and show me he can clean. Which don’t get me wrong is nice it’s just a sudden change in behavior. What would you do? Drug test or no?
