When to announce

Hi all! I was just curious when you guys decided to announce to your family/friends? I’m only 4 weeks but I want to enjoy everyday of this pregnancy. But I’m also so scared something will happen if we announced so soon!

My husband spilled the beans to all his family before i was even 6 weeks after we agreed to wait til after the first trimester 🙄😂 I’m almost 13 weeks and will be telling my family either at the end of this month or early next month

My fiance told his parents when we were 8 weeks along. I told my parents and close friends at 12 weeks. We announced to everyone else at 22 weeks

We have had 3 MC, so we decided to tell close family and friends right away so we have their support and prayers in our corner. We have walked that road alone before and it feels better to have ppl check on you and know they are there for you IMO. But, that’s only close close circle of ppl. General public, maybe 12-16 weeks.

I told my mom immediately, because she can tell when I’m lying, so it’s just easier to be honest. We told my in laws at 6 weeks, but won’t be telling siblings and friends till after my NIPT. 
We just found out it’s a girl and this will be the first girl out of 3 other grandsons for my mother in law. She also only had boys, so she’s going to loose her mind lol!

My mom, sister and bil found out when I was about 10/11 weeks, not because I told them, they found out themselves and confirmed it when they asked lol… my mil found out at 13 weeks Christmas Eve, because I knew they were going to ask me to drink so I let her know before we headed out. My two brothers around 14/15 weeks.

I would say how you feel! with my first pregnancy I told few close friends and my work mate as soon as I got a positive test. I have miscarry! I was happy that I said it as I got support! I am 12 weeks pregnant! Told my very close friends at 4 weeks and my work mate. I am having my 12 weeks scan tomorrow and will start telling more people. Planning not to announce it in social media at all...

Husband told his mum and his side early on without letting us soak it in first🙄 love that for me anyways I ended up sharing it with my family not long after mind you we did ivf to get this baby and their support kept us strong so it was only fair. I think we were 5 weeks then when we announced it. Currently 10 weeks and I’m yet to tell everyone else who doesn’t know 🥰
