Did a membrane sweep work for you? (Not first pregnancy)

I had a membrane sweep at 38w3d with my last baby (#3), I was 4cm dilated at the time and it worked within 12hrs. I’m planning on having my membranes swept again tomorrow with baby #4. I’ll be 38w1d, showing signs like diarrhea, nesting, pelvic pressure, inconsistent contractions/cramping, I think at this point I have lost all of my plug lol (I’ve had so many chunks come out within the last 4 days I doubt there’s anything left) and I was around 2cm and 50% effaced at my appointment last week. Curious if it has worked for y’all, especially if you’ve had it work with previous pregnancies!
