GBS+, what's it mean?

Hey, everyone! I'm due in a couple weeks with our little girl, and just found out I'm GBS+. I was negative with my first, so not too sure what this means! Can anyone share their experience?
Is it just IV antibiotics during labor? Does baby get any meds?
Do they keep you longer to monitor baby?
I'm gonna ask my OB at my next appt, but that's a week away and I'd like some info beforehand. 😅 Thanks!!

Just IV antibiotics during labor☺️ I had it with one of mine and it didn’t mean any extra hospital time at all.❤️

Like a previous poster said, if you get there in time and get the full antibiotics you’re all good. I had no extra stay and no meds for baby. The only thing I remember is the fluid felt really cold in my arm at first. 
If, for some reason, you are unable to get the full dose of antibiotics then you may need to stay for monitoring. Ask your OB to be sure though.

Yup just a bag of iv antibiotics, I didn’t even notice getting it. Maybe keep you an extra day just to watch the baby, but otherwise , you won’t notice anything nor have to worry about anything

Yes. Antibiotics. If you get them in time, no problems.
But that means you should not wait for the last minute to go to hospital. Arrive earlier than usual suggestion is.
