Was giving birth the most painful thing you experienced?

Birth was not painful for me. I was induced, I was in labor for 24 hrs but I also got an epidural & was able to sleep during it, pushing was quick & painless for me.. wasn’t a bad experience at all. IMO recovery from birth is painful. & I don’t know if that’s the most painful thing I’ve ever experienced but prior to birth (even in birth classes) nobody emphasized how difficult recovery could / would be & I was shocked.

I can say for me honestly the aftermath of getting my appendix out was worth that labor and postpartum.
😳😬 Felt like I had a knife in my stomach and they were telling me to get up and start walking. That was terrrrrible!!

When my brother passed away I think that was the worst..
Next I had 10 teeth removed for braces … after surgery I had no painkillers for about 2.5 hours… but that wasn’t as long as labor 
Yeah pain level for me 14 hours all natural was definitely labor

All these people with epidurals 🤣 of course it wasn't! I've had 4 unmedicated births and I still think that needing a double root canal was more painful.

If we’re talking only physical pain- no. Having a kidney stone hurt 100x worse than labor for me.

Nope. For me, the spinal headache that lasted a week after delivery was far worse than my labor. It landed me in the ER and I couldn’t stop puking from the pain. 🙃

Birth. My first 2 weren’t really painful because I had the epidural pretty quickly. The pain was definitely sucky. Labor with my 3rd sucked. My contractions happened hard and fast and came in every time I moved.  it took forever to get the epidural. Then the epidural stopped working so I could feel everything. My son was sunny side up so the OB had to go reach up inside me and turn him (again epidural failed). I don’t think I can top that pain and I hope I never will
