Are these painful? I'm due to have one this weekend and I'm slightly nervous. I've had two babies and I'm 26. These tests are soo important so I'm hoping everything is ok. I've had chlamydia from my previous bf and wondering if they can have any long effects?

If you had two babies… a smear test is a peace of cake. And read about chlamydia. If left untreated yes it can make an impact on reproductive system

These test don't hurt...it's a bit uncomfortable but no pain...you should get them every year! They test for STDs and early stage cancer, so really really important to get done regularly!

It’s no worse than the GBS test. It’s a little uncomfortable but over as quick as it starts. The worst part is the stupid tool they spread you open with but if you’ve had 2 babies you should handle that like a champ!

I’ve had one every year since 18. I’m 28 now. Never found it painful. Just relax. It’s literally nothing compared to having a baby.
