Am I selfish for only working part-time due to mental health issues?

My MIL recently got on my case about not having a full time job. I work part time and my partner works full time, we are trying to find a new place to rent but keep being passed on in favour of higher earning couples. Since, I've felt guilty that I'm in her words "taking advantage" of my partner.

Where is her man or friends? Why is she all in y’all’s business? If you and your partner aren’t worried, why the hell is she? Some people need to learn to mind their business.

It’s between your partner and yourself.
No body else’s business. If your partner is fine with it then that’s all that matters. Taking care of your mental health is important and if you can only do part time right now it’s ok. It’s just a season.
