Do dreams usually have a meaning behind them?

Just curious as since I had a car accident (2012) I've had this same dream that was actually a hallucination over and over again. From my coma! Do they usually have any meaning or do they genuinely mean nothing?

I think sometimes Dreams can be warnings. I think sometimes also they can be completely wonky and have nothing to do with anything. Like this morning I had a dream I was at an amusement park and they had a Britney Spears impersonator and then Britney Spears walked up and suddenly I turned into a bodyguard trying to protect her from people I don’t know it was weird. But I’ve had dreams where they were more like a premonition. I had watch the movie face-off the night before with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta. And I had a nightmare in the middle of the night that someone had broken into the house and beat us up raped us etc. Rob does you get the point, my mother goes to the bank the next day and there’s a woman there she’s like trembling and she said that that same thing had happened to her son and daughter-in-law and it was kind of weird. But perhaps when you were in a coma you saw things sometimes we see relatives, sometimes we see events, sometimes people go to heaven, and I’ve heard stories they’ve seen relatives who have passed, and can Remember them. Sometimes we re-live our same nightmares over and over again￼ But if it’s real to you, then it’s real to you, no one can shame you or make you feel bad about whatever you keep saying. Maybe some therapy, if it is keeping you up at night, or traumatizing you, might be beneficial. There are methods of therapy where they take you back and relive it, and help you find resolution that way. Good luck

I think it just depends on if you want it to mean something or not. I've had a few dreams where they felt so dang real so I'd look up the meaning to them and they were dead set on what I'd be going through in life. I've also had a dream about my aunt who passed visit me. I've also dreamt of going to heaven so my grandma who passed could meet my youngest child. They were the most realistic dream I have ever had, and the feeling it gave me was something else entirely. So for me, I don't take my dreams lightly anymore. Unless it's just like a typical dream. But usually it seems like it's those deep dreams that are there for a reason.
