When were you ready for another baby?

I have two babes. I absolutely loved being pregnant with both even though my pregnancies were uncomfortable, I still loved being pregnant and having the bump. I had my second 3 months ago and my OB mentioned that I’m clear to try for a third in august, but I don’t think I’ll be ready then. I love the idea of pregnancy but it scares the fuck out of me thinking about it/giving birth/dealing with the new baby phase. Don’t get me wrong, I love it, but I know how long the nights can be and how out of it you feel. My first is 18 months, I started feeling normal again when he was a year, and I know I’ll feel like myself again when my daughter gets older. I know I want another baby, it just turns my stomach to think about pregnancy again so soon haha

My kids are all almost exactly 3 years apart and to me are perfectly spaced apart. I had c sections and wanted to feel really good about my healing.

As soon as I got af back frm giving birth I TTC. 11mnths pp with my 1st got af bk, still took 10 cycles to conceive my 2nd. 18mnths pp with my 2nd and took 4 cycles to conceive my current 3rd. Am 27wks atm. Pregnancy is hella hard on my body. I dont really enjoy it due to HG the whole 9mnths, I prefer the 3rd trimester. Birth and newborn stage is easy for me.

I loved being pregnant. Motherhood...not as much. It's tough butttt I would do it again 100x over. I got pregnant 5 months pp was actually super happy but I miscarried that at 12 weeks. Here I am almost 3 weeks post miscarriage. I was cleared to start trying 2 weeks after but damn. I'm scared to get pregnant because of all the what ifs lurking in my head. I would love to though 🥺

I have a 6 week old , I lm good with one 😂. These growing spurts and leaps are not my thing lol I can’t wait till she’s a bit older. Plus I had to use a gestational carrier, so financially we couldn’t anyways

I got pregnant with my second daughter when my first was 11 months old. Both my girls were planned x
I had my second 4 months ago and before I'd even left the hospital we were talking about our next baby 😂

I’d say wait until you are absolutely ready & prepared to split time with a young child and a newborn. Or to be pregnant while taking care of a young child. Personally, I don’t think I could do it. I’m pregnant with my first and love being pregnant and having a bump… but am just not willing to risk not being able to give proper attention to my first born if I were to have a difficult second pregnancy or become overwhelmed with the newborn phase while having a young child.

I had my daughter a year ago in 3 weeks and I am having bad baby fever and I feel like I loved my pregnancy and the birth was hard but I really want another. So I understand where you are coming from
