Is this correct or am I wrong?

The pink pills are the pills I’m suppose to take everyday at the same time? The white pills are the pills to get your peirod which is “withdrawl bleeding” which I don’t take because my sister said there’s no point, so once I’m at the last pink pill I go straight into a new pack. Are the pink pills protecting me from pregnancy or is it the white pills?

There’s no medical reason to have the withdrawal bleeding as the pills stop you from ovulating. The pink pills contain the hormones that stop ovulation and the white pills are just sugar pills. The pink pills protect you from pregnancy and the white pills do not (although you are still fully protected from the hormones in your system from pink pills if you choose to take the white pills and have the withdrawal bleed). If you take the pink pills and then start the new pack without taking the white pills, you will completely skip your period/withdrawal bleed and that is perfectly fine too. I used to take my pills that way.

Answer

You can choose to have your period (during the placebo pills you’re still protected) or just skip the placebo pills and go straight to the next pack without the withdrawal bleed. Some people do just fine doing that and there’s no medical reason not to! But just so you know, whenever I tried to skip my period week I had breakthrough bleeding and just spotted the whole month instead.
