39 weeks, please not yet

OB said Monday the 7th I was 3cm dilated and 50% effaced with fetal station at -2 which I know is irrelevant to how close labor is but still got excited anyway. I've given up on the idea she's coming early to which I was all about previously. I've had multiple spouts of BH contractions that felt like they were going to be the real deal cause of the timing of them and strength, but eventually they just stop so 🙄 kinda annoying lol

I'm just not gonna think about it anymore. She's gonna come whenever she feels like. Although if she had to pick a time it would probably be this weekend because we don't have her carseat ready, my son is transitioning to a bigger one and my bf (bless his heart for trying his best, everything is new to him) had improperly installed the new seat and due to certain circumstances my family takes my son to his dad's on the weekends, almost 4hrs away, since they live out that way and just stay with us during the week. So ofc since the new seat wasn't safe yet and didn't have time to fix it (visitation time for drop off is a bish and so is my ex) we had to use the old one, the one that was supposed to be for our daughter. So now I'm fingers crossed that I DON'T go into labor this weekend just to avoid having to buy another newborn seat 😂
