Anyones LO having meltdowns all the time?

My LO was always pretty calm. He did have tantrums here and there but this last week has been hell. He cries and screams from any little thing. If I take his water cup to fill it up he cries bloody murder. If we leave the park he throws himself and cries. If My husband or I say no to anything at all he starts to cry hysterically. I don’t notice my sweet boy sometimes. This happens all throughout the day. I’m starting to think it’s something we’re doing. Anyone going through this?

Yeah we had a few rough weeks recently, will scream no for everything, has started hitting and throwing when not getting his way. He seems to be coming out of it now but there was some days where it felt like he literally whined and cried all day🥴

My little guy, 2.5 yo, has meltdowns around the clock lately, it's been like this for a couple of months, basically I have to negotiate every little thing with him, because it's always a big fat "NO!" from him, to anything, from nappy changes, to what book to read, meals are difficult because he asks for some type of food, i cook it and he rejects it, even though he got choices and got to decide for himself what he wants to eat, he will scream and cry and hit if he doesn't get to do most things by himself (carry objects/bags, open doors, open car doors, turn on/off lights, etc) he does this with me and his dad and also at daycare sometimes unfortunately... We have to be suuuper careful how we talk to him and explain everything many times over and make sure he's clear about what to expect, if we want to avoid a full on meltdown, for example when we have to go to the doctor's office, or to grandma's place. It's not always THAT horrible, but i'd say 50 percent of the time he's been super high maintenance lately 😅 and he used to be so laid back, like only 6 months ago or so, he was always happy, laughing, playing, learning stuff. We try to give him small chores to make him feel useful and appreciated, we give huge praise when he does things by himself like completing puzzles by himself, singing songs and remembering the words, picking up toys, brushing his teeth, take off/put on clothes or shoes, or saying a new sentence, or new words and nailing the pronounciation, it makes him super happy to be praised, but it doesn't last long 😅 I know they're still very small and only just learning how to manage their emotions, it's just so exhausting always feeling like we're walking on thin ice with him 🙈

My son has been like this recently! I’m assuming it’s just because he wants more control. I try to explain literally everything I’m doing so it doesn’t happen but sometimes he still doesn’t understand.

My daughter has been the same way also 🙃 today she threw herself to the floor having a huge tantrum over no pizza for dinner like she wanted
