Once you get married… YOU come first. Whole point of getting married is to move onto the next chapter of your life and start your OWN family. Just my opinion, and forever will be. Wife comes before family . (Obviously context/situations matter) .

If theyre being unreasonable or theres a reason I should be defended  then yes. Hopefully no situations like that would arise though.

I am his family now. I expect him to put what’s best for him and me and our kids before extended family or friends.
