IVF FAILED , NOW WHAT?😞

Hey ladies, I’m 45 and my first ivf cycle failed. I was retrieved 3 eggs but none made it to blastocyst. I’m sad and heart broken. I had the hope that it would work. My doctor suggests donor eggs, but I’m not sure about; so many questions and uncertainty in my head about that. 
DID ANY OF YOU HAVE ANY SUCCESS WITH IVF AT AGE 45 or older?
IF YOU  ENDED UP USING DONOR EGGS WHAT WAS YOUR EXPERIENCE? 
I would appreciate any comments. 🙏

Hi there , I’m 43 and we are trying our second. Just did our first IVF with a failed result. Now we are getting ready for a second round. Feel scare , feel anxious but as I read more and more here I feel we are not alone and everything can happen .

Hi ladies. I’m 45 about to be 46 this month. Monday I have my transfer of our embryo. Donor egg and husbands sperm. I went through CNY. Most affordable in the US. We’ve been trying for 3 1/2 years and I’m finally feeling relief that hopefully God willing our embaby sticks and I don’t have to go through the monthly torture and disappointment of that damn period showing up. Or better yet being late and filled with hope.

Don't give up and let one failure ruin your journey....
I am currently preparing to go thru an frozen embryo transfer in the weeks to come. I am 42, my husband is 63. I had an egg retrieval back in 2020 with 15 eggs and 11 embryos. I did the fresh transfer, which failed, then a frozen which failed.  Afterwards my husband and I got pregnant naturally, which resulted in a loss of twins in April 2020. Then in 2021 after trying in July 2021 I became pregnant again naturally and had an etopic pregnancy and lost my baby and fallopian tube. Almost died that day. So we decided to do a transfer of our eggs now. I have 5 embabies remaining. I am doing stim injections for a more natural transfer. I am on day 4. I will have a trigger shot to make me ovulate and we can have intercourse and she will then transfer the frozen embabies days later. I will transfer 3(the max amount allowed). Along with my natural ovulation and intercourse. That gives us 4 chances. 3 frozen and 1-2 natural(the stim releases multiple eggs). 
I have been to 4 fertility clinic and had many losses even my miscarriage at 12 weeks thru IVF in 4/2017 my daughter Nuala.
I encourage you to ask for a different stimulation protocol and see if they can work your eggs a little more to get more eggs. Then make sure that your AMH is a good range as well. Also, I know ppl say quality over quantity. Just ensure that you are taking vitamins to enhance mitochondrial energy for your eggs to have energy and be strong to withstand the process. 
And what do you do now.....STAY FOCUSED AND DO IT AGAIN UNTIL THE ALMIGHTY STOPS YOU! 🌈

I’m 42 and doing first round of IVF now. I’m nervous about my egg retrieval for same reason you posted. I got pregnant in Sept while priming for IVF but miscarried (didn’t know until 12 week ultrasound, had a missed miscarriage they estimated at 9 weeks). Did they recommend donor eggs right away or try another round of IVF? Curious to hear about your journey! Good luck to you!

I haven’t had IVF but im 45 as well. We have been trying for 5 months for our 2nd. I have done a round of clomid and a trigger shot but still waiting …. No period, neg preg test….. its such torture waiting….. we cant afford IVF and my doctor recommended Doner egg too but im unsure like you!!! I just wanna wish you luck as we are both 45…. Your not alone!
