How long should OPK be positive?

I had a positive yesterday and it’s still positive today but the test line is actually darker today. Is this normal to still be positive for 2 days? When will I ovulate? When the lh surge goes down is that when I will ovulate?

You don’t have to test anymore once you get a positive. I’ve gotten really dark positives several days in a row and it didn’t mean much, just caused me the overthinking everything that cycle lol

So from the time that you first see a positive you should ovulate within 24-48 hours or so! Today is most likely the most fertile day of your whole cycle.

Yes some women just have a longer surge. And this would be a peak with the test line being darker. You’re supposed to stop testing after your first positive/peak, as ovulation occurs within 12-36 hours of it. However, note: opk’s only detect your LH surge. You would also have to temp to confirm if/when ovulation has taken place.
