Pcos and birth control help??!!

Hey y'all I just found out I have pcos. I'm on the depo shot and I'm not having any luck I am cramping really bad and having pelvic and back pains. I've been bleeding for weeks now and just have felt yucky. When I say bleeding it's like spotting but get heavy a little bit then goes back. I'm not liking the depo because I think it's making things worse. I've been on the proestogen patch and a pill. But those haven't helped. Does any one know what type of birth control will help? Or what I can do to prevent some of this because there are nights I'm in tears of pain.
