I work as a receptionist at a tax office and today I was making phone calls. A called a lady and asked her if she would be able to make it to her appointment and she said “no I’m pregnant and that is actually my due date” tell me why my dumb ass says “oh I’m so sorry about that” 🤭 and then when I tried to tell her that’s not what I meant I had the nerve to start stuttering and whatever came out of my mouth made no sense. then she goes “no it’s okay but yeah you can go ahead and cancel my appointment” 😩 I meant to say I’m sorry you won’t be able to come to your appointment not about her bringing a new human to the world 😔
