Should I take a plan b to be on the safe side ??

I had sex with my boyfriend yesterday, he said he didn’t ejaculated inside me and he wiped bf he went back in …but he wants me to take a plan b jic And today my period came, can I get pregnant?
Or should I just go ahead and take a contraceptive? Can anybody please help?

Plan B works by delaying ovulation. If you got your period today then you would have already ovulated and plan B won't do anything anyway. If you don't want to get pregnant, get on some birth control and/or get him to wear a condom. Plan B is not birth control.

No. You can’t be pregnant if you have your period now. Use condoms in the future please. Condoms help prevent STDs as well

You I already got your period so no. Stop relying on your partner for sexual responsibility-protecting your body is your responsibility and that includes either ensuring he is wearing protection or you are on a form of bc. It sounds like your avoiding pregnancy so the pull out method is not an effective method of doing that.
