Generic brand Nuvaring help

I started the generic Nuvaring birth control on the 15th (put it in) and I read that I should wait 7 days till having unprotected sex, so I waited 10 days. I let my SO cum in me after 10 days of it being in and after doing more research I saw that some stuff said to wait a full month… my doctor never told me this. Now I’m freaking that since I didn’t wait a month that I could be pregnant. And I have the period app so I didn’t realize he ejaculated in me on an ovulation day. I put it in right after my period and I’m just really nervous that I should’ve waited a month.
