Implantation Bleeding or Period

I got this around the time my period is suppose to start. I’ve never gotten the brown discharge with prior periods, so I’m just curious. It took about 24hrs to soak up 1 whole pad with just blood. I figured at that moment, it was AF. But the day after, I was only getting spotting on the pad. Not enough that I needed to used more than 1 pad. Now, 3rd day, no blood on panty liner, just when I wipe after using the bathroom. Normally my period is around 5-7 days, but I’ve already disregarded that it could be Implantation bleeding, since the first day, I had a heavy flow and even small blood clots. My question to anyone reading, could it still be implantation bleeding? Has this ever happened to anyone? I could just take a pregnancy test but those can be pricey and wanted to check with this community before getting testing and still holding onto that small bit of hope. Lol TIA!!
