Today is the big day

It’s 5:30 am here, today I am scheduled for my c-section. I am a FTM so I’m terrified of everything but excited to meet our baby girl and that I will not get to experience a vaginal birth which scared me even more. I had COVID last week and even if the law says that being fully vaccinated means 5 day of quarantine and you’re free to go out after that without requiring a negative PCR result (which ended on Sunday for me) the maternity made me do another test yesterday (their internal rules) which of course is positive, as can you test positive for many days after the infection…I’ll be placed in a COVID ward and not be able to see my baby for 4 days. So, yeah, it’s going to be so heartbreaking and I’m so sad about the whole issue. Hope you other moms still pregnant in here are all safe and never go through this 🙏🏻♥️
