Follicle count - please help?

Question

I just had an initial scan prior to my ivf consult and she did a follicle count - 8 on left and 14 on right. I haven’t had any meds or anything yet, this was just an assessment to discuss at my appointment next week.
Only as an after thought, I wondered, What js classed as normal / healthy for a woman in early 30’s?
I am due to discuss next week but just wondered if anyone has anything similar or gone through similar prior to ivf process.

I would just wait and see what they tell you. I was diagnosed with PCOS and had 20 plus follicles on each side every time they checked. It just meant that they were being careful not to overstimulate and that they adjusted the meds accordingly.

Diagnosed PCOS + male factor. I had 29 antral follicles. But my docs were careful with dosage so i had 10-13 growing follicles throughout stims. Stimed for 13 days. Retrieved 11 eggs, 10 mature, 10 to day 5/6, 7 normal.
