How does weeks work in pregnancy ?

I’m almost 24 weeks but I count the pregnancy four weeks in each month but they say six months Can last for seven weeks and start between 21 weeks and ends on the 28th. 21 weeks to 28 weeks would accumulate to seven months pregnant and nine months at 40 weeks 🙄 But does that mean that every other month has four weeks?

Pregnancy is measured in weeks other than the overall number which we say is “nine months.” But you don’t ever measure pregnancy in months because if we did that obviously there are months that have five weeks and that just makes it complicated. So doctors will always describe pregnancy in “weeks gestation” never months. I wouldn’t think too far into it because it can get confusing lol just measure your weeks pregnant and stick with that!!

I’d say you’re 5.5months or so, close to 6 months. I’m 23+3 and I’m still 5 months as a matter of a fact I’ll be 5 months for another 2+ weeks I’ll be 6 months on the 25th of this month, as the 25th of this month would be 6 months since I last had a period(last period Sept. 25th)! 
I find when you go by 4 weeks it’s a bit confusing and reality is not every month has in 4 exact weeks!

Pregnancy is really more like 10 months, not 9 like is well known. It’s 40 weeks. So I typically just count every 4 weeks as a month. If youre 18 weeks then I’d say you’re 4.5 months, If youre 24 weeks - 6 months, etc
