Help?

This is going to be a dumb question, or at least for me it is lol. When we start to dilate can we see bloody discharge? I just came from my doctor appt. (how convenient), and everything there was fine. Only did a tummy measurement, and check the heartbeat. I'm only 32w so no cervix check yet until 37w. When I went to the restroom I noticed slightly bloody mucus like right before you start your period. This is my 5th baby, but I've never had this happen before 🤦🏼‍♀️. Definitely not the mucus plug just like discharge mixed with blood. Sorry TMI but I'm just dumbfounded.
