Due 12/21 No progress in 4 weeks
Hi ladies!! Anyone had an experience like this?
This is my third babe. Carried both previous pregnancies to term. 1st was induced, second was right in time on his own.
At 35 weeks my doctor checked me and determined I was dilated to a 3, 75% effaced and baby is at -2 station. She informed me that I would not make it to my due date and has played that tune every visit since.
I have had weekly appointments since then. I have only dilated to a 4, still 75%, still -2 station. I was checked at L&D during a false alarm, nurse confirmed measurements.
2 membrane sweeps, steady irregular contractions, what I believe was mucus plug/bloody show last week and cramping plus lower back discomfort.
I have been stretching, walking, bouncing on a ball and staying hydrated. And sex... It's not pretty, girls...
I had a chiropractic adjustment Tuesday. As it turns out my right hip was all out of whack.
My contractions are most steady and noticeable while in a sitting position.
I suspect baby might be in posterior position. But she is head down.
I feel calm but like something maybe isn't quite right.
Help!! What is going on?! Any tips on what to do to help things along?
