Was this warranted?
So I am 18 weeks pregnant, working 45
hours a week, and taking care of my
mother's house (cleaning, mopping,
cooking, etc.) because she is never well
enough to do it herself. I am also taking
care of my two dogs who she makes me
lock away all day every day except to go
use the bathroom. I have them on a
schedule so they do not use the bathroom
in my room.
I AM CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR MY OWN
PLACE, WE HAVE A PRE APPROVAL.
REALTOR, ETC. So please try to refrain
from telling me moving out is a solution
because I know it is and I am in the
process.
Anyway, I am going away for a weekend
trip and I asked my little sister to take care
of the dogs, she of course said yes. She is
at school right now, so I asked my mother if
she could let the dogs out so they don't use
the bathroom in my room and this was her
response.
I sent her a thumbs up emoji to avoid
conflict, but I am a little upset with her
response. She went to the doctor last week
who said she has cysts and nothing to
worry about. I feel like my request was not
a huge one and she could have simply told
me she does not have time.
My mother has always been sick, she has
been to countless doctors who have told
her it is stress, but nothing serious. She
does not clean up after herself or her
German shepherd who uses the bathroom
all over the house, but expects me (who her
German shepherd bit last year and sent me
to the hospital but refused to get rid of the
dog) and my father (who she DIVORCED
ten years ago) to clean up after HER dog.
But she cannot take five minutes out of her
day to let my dogs use the bathroom so I
don't have to clean up poop in my room.
Mind you, she was driving all around
yesterday with my nephew and going out
not to doctors. So again, I do not feel my
ask was that huge, and I do not feel it
warranted this response.
