this is kind of embarrassing because I’m really freaking out but I’m 7 weeks 5 days pregnant and I didn’t know you’re not supposed to eat beef jerky while pregnant and I ate a whole bag of it 😭😭😭 did I just hurt my baby?? Should I got puke it all up?? 😰😰😰

I ate anything I wanted with my first (some things in moderation like fish) and with this one I eat whatever I want
It's just to mainly scare new moms. Baby will be fine

I literally ate deli meat today,  you'll be fine. Obviously you want to be a little more careful of foods that are more likely to cause food poisoning but overall the rules are vague. And consider things like we can't eat deli meat because of the listeria but listeria is more commonly found in bagged salads and spinach and no one ever says we can't have those 🤷🏽‍♀️

Jerky is fine. I keep it in my car during the first trimester to eat when I get extra nauseous, because protein helps me most of all
