Does anyone believe right person wrong timing?

Yes, this was my relationship with my now husband. I was an abusive POS and he also had his issues, not as bad but still needed to work on himself too. We loved each other deeply but we were a volatile combination. We split up for several years and started therapy individually and then did therapy together for a year before even starting to take steps to get back together like going on dates, hugging etc. We've both matured and healed since then and now we're very happy together with our two kids. We never stopped loving each other but we also knew that we were just hurting each other without the proper outside professional assistance, it was definitely a case of letting the other go because of our love for them and not wanting to see them get hurt. Thankfully we both felt the same way and gave our relationship one more try.

I have always felt a really strong connection with this kid I met when I was like 12ish? We tried "dating " but you know...we were young and we broke up after like 2 weeks lol. Anyway life went on we remained friends (we had a lot or mutual friends) and as the years went on we lost contact. Well one day a friend of mine asked me to pick up "her friend "  it was him so I gladly offered...  I loved that kid lol. We hung out the whole night at the party. We kept talking after even tho I was engaged (my ex dropped us off at the party together and went home to do drugs apparently) and now me and my childhood crush have been married almost 5 years  with 1 son, 1 soon to be adopted daughter , and ttc another
