6 week miscarriage is this the baby or just tissue?

At 6 weeks, you'll only really identify any tissue. It's hard for me to talk so casually about it, having lost 9 of my own and knowing how difficult it can be, but that early you won't really identify anything more than uterine tissue. 😔 So sorry for your loss.

You won't be able to see the baby. It's tiny tiny and doesn't look like a fetus at that point. I had a missed miscarriage at 9 wks back in 2020. Baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. Everything I passed was either liquid or the size of my fist. Scan confirmed my body passed everything, but I couldn't tell you where in all the clots and tissue the baby was located. Not a single clue.
