Why me...

Question

Ugh I am past my due date and I feel like this little one is never coming on her own :( 
I don't want to get induced but it seems like that is going to happen :( 
Is it bad to get induced?  This is my first baby and I don't know why but some people tell me it's bad...
I am worried that something might go wrong :(

My due date on December 22 with my first. My doctor said i think u will pass your due date because its ur first baby and I'm so worried and nervous . She said i can start doing membrane sweep and maybe you go into labor but I don't know what to chose wait more time or do it 😞😞

I'm 40+1 and feel the same way. I know she has to come sometime but it feels like it's never going to happen. :(

I know it sucks, hon. But it's not the worst thing in the world. I too, would rather labor naturally than being induced. Unfortunately, I'm past my due date but will be induced when I'm 42 weeks. Just focus on the grand prize, that much anticipated baby. Many people bash induction because the medicine does give you stronger contractions, but you being a FTM, don't have nothing to compare it to, and that will drive you even more insane. Just relax until the day and advocate for yourself. Ask questions, request that a lower dose be given to you, and going from there. Wish you all the best.

This is my 5th n last girl and I'm 6 days over the due date was due 12-12-15 and I never went to my due date let alone over with any of the other girls

The first baby usually goes past due date, ex... I was 5 days late with my first. My theory is, baby will come when it's ready,  you don't want to rush something that is not ready,  there is always a reason.  We all want to see our lil ones but be patient and it will happen.  Good luck hun

Eh. I was induced with a failed epidural, and id rather go to 42 wks than be induced again. .. but it's not as bad as some people say. It definitely felt unnatural in the way that there was no "build up" or graduation to the pains. It was just suddenly all at once happening. If i had to be induced again, I'd go out to eat a nice meal, get my nails done, go in to the induction with my music and comforts, and I'd be alright. I wouldn't be too upset.
