My period is late.

With my first pregnancy it wasn't planned and my partner was verbally and emotionally abusive and constantly talking about not wanting the pregnancy the first few months. (Now divorced)

I'm currently trying to get pregnant. My fiance wants to have a baby but he's also anxious about it. We've been trying for 6 months and my period is now late. I am now panicking even tho we have been actively trying.

Did anyone else get super serious when they found out even tho it was planned? I feel like this may stem from my fiance being anxious and my past relationship.
