Yes it’s completely normal, unless you have very large clots. Your bleeding can completely stop and then start again for the first 6-8 weeks postpartum

Depends on the amount. If it’s a lot and you’re passing clots, I’d call your doctor. Even if you’re breastfeeding, it COULD be your period, just less common. My periods returned at 3 months postpartum despite exclusively breastfeeding.
