I spotted for 9 days between weeks 7 & 8. US came back normal & my son is now 18 months old. Doc guessed I had a blood clot that worked itself out. As long as it stays brown, you & baby are most likely OK. Always tell your OB though about any kind of spotting.

I spotted from 5 weeks to 11 weeks. Never could find the culprit of why and my blood work and first ultrasound came back fine. My doctor told me spotting can be normal. Just wish for heavy period like bleeding, bright red, and cramping.
