Heartburn

What can you take for heartburn? Tums do nothing my dr prescribed me once a day Pepcid but it’s not enough!!!!! Anything stronger you can take that has worked? I’m going to talk to my dr on Monday and see if she has anything stronger but was just wondering what has worked for you guys and is safe.
