Blood clot ?

I gave birth 3/17/22 I’ve barely been bleeding compared to my first but this time around I noticed a blood clot (not huge) about the size of a nickel or so . Just wondering if that’s normal or if I should be contacting my dr tomorrow . We left the hospital one day pp cause everything was good with baby and I but just don’t know if I should be concerned with the blood clot

I dropped a blood clot the size of a plum after I gave birth the doctor told me that was normal.. so I’m guessing a small one is no big deal.

I had a few as well. My midwife said it was normal. I eventually stopped bleeding.

Discharge paper said size of a golf ball or larger. Discharge packet said size of an egg or larger. OB said size of a plum tomato or larger. My period clots are always larger anyway. Like at least golf ball so it wasn't too scary for me too see smaller clots. Nickle size is pretty common and expected. Well by healthcare workers, not so much you. They don't do a very good job telling you what to actually expect after birth. You can always call and ask if youre concerned.

It’s very common to see blood clots that size. They say if it’s a quarter sized or bigger and you have more then one of those to call. 🥰 I had many of those sized clots after birth and I still had them during my monthly’s. 🥰💕

A nickel is fine. My doctor told me to call if i passed any clots larger than like a lemon or an orange
