MY CHILD DOES WERID HAND MOVEMENTS

So my 5 year old have been doing weird hand movements and weird eye focusing ! Every time she’s excited or focusing on something she flaps her hands and moves them while looking straight into the object or what ever she’s doing ! She sometimes does it while walking where she won’t focus on u ! I took her dr as I feel like that’s part of autism as she also has slow speech , gets angry a lot and has few bahavior issues where she don’t understand directions a lot . The drs said she has STEREOTYPIES DISORDER/ MOVEMENTS . They said she only needs speech therapy . I asked for MRI but they said she has no reason to do it as she is fine . I know she’s fine but she does this movements a lot where u feel like she’s in another world and she will stop only when I say hey. She does it every day and notice it’s more then it was a year ago ! Does anyone know of this ??? Please any tips ! Look on YouTube the name if u dnt know what I mean by the movements as it’s hard to explain !
