Beta Testing?

Question

Anyone else have an OB who doesn't routinely check beta HCG levels after the initial confirmation of pregnancy? 
She said she would if I really wanted her to, but that unless there were any indications of a problem, she doesn't like to. Because focusing so much on those numbers with such widely normal ranges makes people stress too much...
Makes sense to me, but also I have anxiety, so I kinda wanna know. 😆

I’ve had the same doctor, multiple losses & didn’t even have a pregnancy confirmation appointment. They are just having me come in at 9 weeks for first ultrasound then doctor appointment. I’m actually happier with this because if something is wrong before 9 weeks there isn’t much I can do about it.

That’s what my OB told me. She said she’d do it if I wanted but it’s not always predictable and can cause more stress than anything.

I only had them done with 1/3 pregnancies.
