Miscarrage or SCH

I’m so confused and scared and don’t know what to think. March 15th I went in for what I thought was a 7 week US. Saw an empty sack, could be 5 weeks, could be an early loss. Told to come back in 2 weeks for another US. Got HCG tested twice. Didn’t increase as much as we should have. Then Tues, March 22nd started spotting that then led to bleeding. Had an apt March 23rd. My cervix was still closed during the exam which is good news. US was read and said there could be a SCH which could explain the bleeding. Now I’m bleeding and cramping a lot. Like clots and everything. They still didn’t want to do another US until Monday because less than 12 days isn’t diagnostic. I don’t know what to think or feel. Do I hope that baby is there and growing or is it such a small chance that I don’t want to get my hopes up. Anyone have similar experiences?
