Is it Safe getting my hair done ?

I'm 8 weeks 1 day!  I'm showing also. It's my first pregnancy. I want to get my hair done ? Just my roots? Is this safe or not ?

Yes. You can do whatever you'd like. Just make sure you're being safe (I.e., face masks, Well ventilated area, not breathing it in)

Some docs recommend waiting till second trimester. Up until the fist 10w or so there is so much critical development of baby going on.

I got my hair done today (high lights - bleached) it's absolutely fine. I was worried and spoke to my midwife and hairdressers and they confirmed it isn't harmful to the baby.
